How to Graph on a TI 84 Calculator Online
This guide explains the basic workflow for graphing functions on a TI-84-style graphing calculator simulator.
1. Open the Y= screen
Use the Y= key to enter equations such as Y1 = X^2 - 4 or Y1 = 2X + 3. Clear old equations before starting a new graphing problem.
2. Set the graph window
Use the WINDOW key to set Xmin, Xmax, Ymin and Ymax. A common classroom starting point is a symmetric viewing window around zero.
3. Press GRAPH and TRACE
After entering the equation and choosing a window, press GRAPH. Use TRACE to move along the curve and read approximate x and y values.
4. Use TABLE for exact checks
The TABLE feature is useful when you want a list of input and output values instead of a visual graph.
