Our purpose
We build calculators that are quick to open, easy to use on phones and supported by explanations of formulas, modes and common mistakes. Core calculator use does not require an account.
Calculator technology credits
The TI-84-style calculator application uses externally delivered TestNav calculator runtime and faceplate resources. TI-84 and TI-84 Plus CE are trademarks of Texas Instruments. Calc for Class is an independent educational website and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Texas Instruments.
The early web wrapper approach was informed by the open-source projects ti84pce-html5 and TI84Calculator. Local wrapper code derived from those repositories is maintained with the applicable license notices in this project.
Original calculators
The scientific, graphing, statistics, matrix, fraction and financial calculators in Calc for Class are implemented as browser tools for educational use. Their methods and assumptions are described on the calculation methodology page.
